Full-time Permanent ASAP Start

Academics are working with a secondary school in Watford seeking an experienced and passionate KS3 SENCO to lead and develop SEND provision across Years 7-9.

The Role:
  • Coordinate and monitor SEND provision across KS3.
  • Oversee EHCPs, reviews and targeted interventions.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents and external professionals.
  • Promote inclusive teaching and support student progress.
  • Lead and support learning support staff.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • QTS with experience supporting students with SEND.
  • NASENCO/NPQ SENCO or willingness to work towards it, where applicable.
  • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
