Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is assisting a Hayes secondary school in West London to recruit an experienced SENCO to lead SEND provision and drive inclusion. You will work with staff, parents and external agencies to ensure tailored support for students to reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage the school's SEND provision in line with statutory requirements.

• Coordinate and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Support teachers in adapting teaching strategies and resources to meet individual learning needs.
• Manage and develop a team of Learning Support Assistants and SEND staff.
• Liaise effectively with parents, carers, local authorities, and external professionals.
• Monitor student progress and use data to drive improvements in SEND outcomes.
• Promote an inclusive culture across the school, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or willingness to work towards it.
• Proven experience working with students with SEND.
• Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
