GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a specialist setting near Wetherby. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping children with SEND and SEMH needs overcome barriers to learning.
The provision supports pupils aged 4–16 who require a more personalised and therapeutic approach to education. Learners benefit from small class sizes, structured routines and strong pastoral support focused on emotional wellbeing and re‑engagement with learning.
Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support
Assist with personalised learning and behaviour plans
Promote emotional regulation and communication
Support academic and life-skills learning
Experience supporting SEND or SEMH needs, a calm and patient approach, strong communication skills and an enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.
