Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Whitstable is currently working with SEN schools across the Thanet area, seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams. You will support pupils with a range of needs and help them access learning.

The role involves working closely with teachers to support ASC, ADHD, speech and language needs, MLD/SLD and SEMH. We look for caring, patient, resilient communicators who are reliable and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND and SEN settings preferred.

Salary: £93.00 - £100.00 per day

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• ADHD
• speech and Language needs
• Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Complex medical and sensory needs

You’ll help pupils access learning, develop confidence, build independence and celebrate every achievement, no matter how big or small.
