As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and wider school staff to provide individual and small-group support for pupils with a range of additional learning needs. You'll help create a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment where every child can reach their full potential.
The role includes supporting classroom learning, encouraging positive behaviour, developing communication and social skills, and helping pupils become more independent both inside and outside the classroom.
Experience within an SEN setting is beneficial but not essential. Applicants with transferable skills and a genuine interest in supporting children with SEND are encouraged to apply.
