SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Dover District, Kent (Dover, Deal, Sandwich, Walmer, Aylesham and surrounding areas)

Salary: £93.00 - £100.00 per day

Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunities

Responsibilities

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and wider school staff to provide individual and small-group support for pupils with a range of additional learning needs. You'll help create a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment where every child can reach their full potential.

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • ADHD
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Moderate, Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties
  • Sensory, physical and medical needs

The role includes supporting classroom learning, encouraging positive behaviour, developing communication and social skills, and helping pupils become more independent both inside and outside the classroom.
