SEN Teaching Assistants Needed - Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities
Location: Erdington Post-16 SEN College (Ages 19-25)

Academics are currently working on behalf of a fantastic Post-16 SEN College in the Erdington area who are looking to expand their dedicated support team. We are seeking enthusiastic, patient and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to join the college on either a full-time or part-time basis.

This specialist college supports young adults aged 19-25 with a wide range of additional needs, including physical disabilities, communication needs, autism and varying learning difficulties. As a SEN TA, you will play a key role in helping students develop independence, confidence and the skills they need for adulthood.

What the Role Involves:
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support
  • Assisting with personalised learning plans
  • Promoting independence and life skills
  • Supporting students with physical, sensory or learning needs
  • Working collaboratively with tutors, therapists and support staff
  • Helping to create an inclusive, safe and engaging learning environment
  • Helping students at their work placements
