Overview

PK Education is looking for a Psychology Graduate for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role. We are working with a school in Sheffield that has a large number of children with Special Educational Needs in their Primary school. The role is to start in November on a trial basis to ensure the right fit for the school and children.

The school is seeking a Psychology Graduate to support children both academically and socially within KS2. Experience with Special Needs is not essential, but you should have an interest in this area and be willing to learn on the job with the support of the school and outside agencies. You would be working with a few children on a 1:1 basis throughout the week, with some needing support with social and emotional health. The school requires someone who can be flexible and adapt to the needs of the children while working alongside teachers and the SENCO.
