Job summary

Flourish Education are recruiting for an SEN Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Pershore, starting in September 2026 and continuing until the Christmas holidays.

You will deliver tailored lessons and work alongside specialist staff to meet the needs of pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other learning and communication needs, providing academic and pastoral support. QTS is essential and prior SEN classroom experience is desirable.

Qualifications

QTS is essential.
Experience working with pupils with SEN.
Knowledge of ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
Experience supporting challenging behaviour is desirable.
Strong classroom management.
Ability to adapt teaching effectively.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
Support pupils with ASD, ADHD and SEMH.
Adapt resources and teaching strategies.
Monitor and assess pupil progress.
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
Work closely with specialist support staff.
Contribute to EHCP outcomes and individual plans.
Promote independence and engagement.
