Job summary

Flourish Education are working with a specialist SEND school in Kidderminster, seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join from October 2026 until June 2027. The role requires QTS and SEN experience, with a focus on supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD and complex needs.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver lessons, adapt resources, assess progress and contribute to EHCP plans, while working with a wider specialist team to support academic, social and emotional development.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience within SEN or specialist education.
• Knowledge of SEMH, Autism and ADHD.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons within a specialist SEND environment.
• Adapt lessons and resources to individual pupil needs.
• Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and complex needs.
• Assess and monitor progress.
• Implement appropriate behaviour and regulation strategies.
• Work closely with specialist Teaching Assistants.
• Contribute to EHCP outcomes and individual support plans.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Support pupils in developing independence and confidence.
