Job summary

Flourish Education are recruiting for a QTS-qualified SEN Teacher for a specialist SEN school in Redditch. The contract runs from January 2027 until July 2027, with pupils presenting SEMH, ASD and ADHD in a structured, personalised curriculum.

You will plan and deliver lessons, adapt content to individual needs, and work with Teaching Assistants to support progress, behaviour, and independence within a supportive school team.

Qualifications

• QTS is required for the role.
• Experience teaching within SEN or specialist education is desirable.
• Strong differentiation and adaptive teaching skills are essential.
• Confident behaviour management and clear communication are important.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in a specialist SEN setting.
• Adapt the curriculum to meet individual needs.
• Teach pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and complex needs.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and support EHCP outcomes.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
