Job summary

Flourish Education are recruiting for an SEN Teacher to join a secondary school in Redditch, starting November 2026 and lasting until July 2027. The role requires delivering structured lessons for pupils with a range of additional learning needs and adapting to individual progress.

You will work with teaching assistants to maintain routines, assess progress, and communicate with colleagues and parents. The position is a full-time, on-site role in Redditch, with benefits including holiday pay,

Qualifications

• QTS or ECT status required.
• Experience teaching, with SEN experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt lessons effectively for diverse learners.
• Strong classroom management and organisation.
• Commitment to supporting individual pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons suitable for pupils with SEN.
• Differentiate resources and activities.
• Monitor and assess student progress.
• Maintain clear classroom routines and expectations.
• Support positive behaviour and manage behaviour challenges.
• Work with Teaching Assistants and other staff.
• Contribute to pupil support plans and reviews.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents.
• Encourage students to develop independence.
