SEN English Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a warm, welcoming SEN school in Kingston that supports children with moderate learning difficulties. The school is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team from January, teaching KS3 and KS4 within a supportive and friendly environment.

Role: SEN English Teacher

Location: Kingston

Salary: M1-M6 based on experience

Contract: January 2026 to July 2026

Working hours: Full time, school hours, term time only

Key stages: KS3 and KS4 English

Class size: Approximately 10 children

Qualifications: QTS required (Primary or Secondary trained)

SEN experience: Not essential; open, adaptable teachers with a passion for SEN encouraged

Transport: Accessible by car, local buses and trains

Teacher compliance required:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Two recent teaching-related references
  • Full, up-to-date CV
  • Proof of address and photo ID
  • Teaching qualification and QTS documentation
  • Overseas police checks if applicable
  • Safeguarding training (Tradewind can provide this)

The ideal SEN English teacher will:
