Job summary

A tutoring agency in Bradford is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to support a 15-year-old student with Autism and severe learning difficulties. The teacher will provide home tuition in primary Math and English for 16 hours each week, Monday to Friday. Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), have experience in an SEN Specialist school, and possess a DBS. This position is available until July 2026.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS.
• Experience in an SEN Specialist school is required.
• Training in Intensive Interaction, Total Communication and Deep Pressure is preferred.
• Must have a DBS on the update system.

Responsibilities

• Support a 15-year-old with Autism and learning difficulties.
• Provide tuition in Math and English at the student's home.
• Work 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Job description

Prospero Teaching are looking for SEN Teachers to support a learner in Bradford (BD4) ASAP.

The student is 15 years old but not currently attending school at the moment.

He struggles with Autism, severe communication and learning difficulties, so he does require a teacher with extensive experience in supporting students with SEND.

Tuition will take place at home, there are no risks in terms of behaviour.

He requires support with primary Math & English.

The tuition would be for 16 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

Requirements:

• Must hold QTS
• Must have worked in an SEN Specialist school
• Be trained in Intensive Interaction, Total Communication and Deep Pressure trained (preferred)
• Must have a DBS on the update system and Right to Work in the UK

This role will be till July 2026.
