Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Bolton is seeking an SEN Learning Mentor to support pupils with learning, behaviour and emotional wellbeing in SEN schools.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, build trusting relationships, and work with teachers and SENCOs to create a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals.
• Previous experience in support work, mentoring, care, education or youth work is desirable.
• A patient, calm and compassionate approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence supporting individuals with challenging behaviour or additional needs.
• A genuine passion for helping young people reach their potential.

SEN Learning Mentor – Bolton

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN? Do you have experience in support work, mentoring, care, youth work or education?

Teaching Personnel is looking for caring, motivated and resilient Learning Mentors to work in SEN schools across Bolton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to use their existing experience to make a positive difference to pupils who may need additional support with their learning, behaviour, communication and emotional wellbeing.

As an SEN Learning Mentor, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
