Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Manchester is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Mentor & Inclusion Support Assistant to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.

You will provide 1:1 and small group SEN support, work with pupils with ASC, ADHD, SEMH and other needs, manage behaviour, and collaborate with teachers, therapists and SENCOs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, SEMH or additional needs.
• Backgrounds in education, youth work, care, support work, sports coaching, psychology, or mentoring are desirable.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Patient, resilient and proactive approach.
• Passion for inclusive education and pupil development.
• Ability to build strong professional relationships.
• Team Teach training desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
