Job description

As a good all-round communicator, you will join a supportive team, where you will be trained and supported to develop. We provide a high quality and effective range of services for children with SEND. This is a challenging, fast paced and interesting role within a very busy environment. You will be part of a service whose overarching aim is to make a positive and measurable difference to the outcomes of children and young people with SEND aged 0 to 25. We need:

  • Someone who has experience in working with Special Educational Needs and Disability and has a good understanding of the legislation in relation to this area of education
  • Someone with a high level of resilience and the ability to work as part of a team to inspire, support and challenge others
  • Someone who understands co-production with children, young people, parent carers and stakeholders, and the importance of joint agency working.
  • Someone with a positive solution focused approach to meeting children's individual needs with the ability to sensitively manage competing and conflicting priorities of service users whilst maintaining positive, professional relationships.
  • Someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to remain calm and negotiate effectively

Salary: The salary band for this role is £37,280 - £40,778. The starting salary is £37,280 with annual progression through the salary bands.
