Qualifications

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Administrator to join our vibrant and inclusive team at Brixham College.

We are looking for a well‑organised, efficient and proactive individual to provide a high‑quality administrative service supporting the delivery of outstanding care and provision for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

This is a varied and rewarding position that requires excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm professional approach.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with students, staff, parents and outside agencies.
  • Understands the emotional, developmental and educational needs of children and young people.
  • Demonstrates high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Is confident with IT systems, particularly Microsoft 365.
  • Holds GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C / 4 or equivalent).

Experience in a school setting or knowledge of SEN processes would be an advantage but not essential.
