GSL Education are recruiting an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist setting near Malton, supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs.
The provision supports pupils who have struggled in mainstream education due to SEMH needs, offering small groups, therapeutic support and structured routines.
Support pupils with SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
Assist with behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
Promote engagement and positive routines
Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff
Experience supporting SEMH or behaviour needs
Knowledge of de-escalation strategies
Calm, resilient and empathetic approach
Enhanced DBS required
