As an SEMH Teacher (Science) you will be given an opportunity to make a positive impact on some of the most at-risk students in the area and to provide support for students to progress to the next stages of their education, training or independence

Who are we looking for?

A successful candidate would:

  • Have experience in an educational setting either in mainstream schools, Secondary Schools or any other alternative provision.
  • A history of working with students with challenging behaviour.
  • A confident, caring, and assertive personality
What to expect?
  • Working here requires patience, confidence, and a caring attitude as the student has complex social, emotional, and mental health issues which need to be managed.
  • The student has difficulties in displaying these emotions in a productive way so the use of Team Teach positive behaviour management strategies may be needed.
  • The student will require positive reinforcement from you when they display good behaviours.

What we need from you:
