Overview

The Education Specialists are working in partnership with specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) schools across Tameside committed to providing exceptional education and support to pupils aged 4-16. We are looking for a passionate, resilient, and inspiring Secondary Teachers to join our team and make a significant impact on the lives of our young people. We have vacancies for English, Maths, Science, PE and a selection of vocational subjects.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons across all subjects that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils.
  • Create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies for students with SEMH needs.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching methods to ensure effective learning.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting a culture of respect, inclusion, and high expectations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements
