bp’s Global Subsurface Solutions (GSS) delivers high-quality subsurface products supporting bp’s oil, gas, and low‑carbon portfolios. Within this, the Seismic Delivery team plays a critical role in enabling safe, efficient, and technically robust geophysical operations - from traditional hydrocarbon development to near‑surface and ultra‑high‑resolution surveys.
As a Seismic Operations Geophysicist in the Eastern Hemisphere Seismic Delivery Team, you will help design, plan, and deliver seismic data acquisition projects in alignment with bp’s Management of Geophysical Operations (MoGO). A key part of the role includes providing HSSE leadership for UK‑managed field activities, ensuring strong contractor engagement, risk management, and consistent delivery of safe and high‑quality operations. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Sunbury, Houston, and global subsurface teams.
