Job summary

A leading healthcare recruitment agency is seeking an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Dundonald, UK. Job description
SEHSCT Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

The post holder will be a key member of the multidisciplinary team, providing expert clinical care for the sick and/or premature neonate and their family using advanced clinical skills. The post holder will provide support and leadership to clinical colleagues and participate fully in audit, research and development and continuing education programmes, designed to support the ongoing development of neonatal care. Responsibilities
  • Act as a specialist resource providing clinical expertise, advice and support within the area of Neonatology.
  • Work within the multi-professional team in order to ensure a seamless, coordinated approach to person centred care, across the clinical pathway, and timely onward referral to other professionals and agencies as appropriate.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse Part 1 on the live NMC register.
  • Completion of Advanced Neonatal Practice Course (Completed MSc or awaiting results of MSc dissertation).
