Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive adoption of the Splunk platform for enterprise security. You will guide use-case development, optimize configurations, and act as a trusted advisor to ensure customer health and satisfaction.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor others, and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, while maintaining strong security domain expertise across Unix/Windows environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional IT experience, including at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience using or administering SIEM/security log management systems (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, LogRhythm, ELK, Q-Radar, Rapid7, Sentinel, Chronicle).
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience managing Splunk premium applications (ES, Phantom, UBA).
• At least one industry security certification (GIAC, CISSP, OSCP or equivalent).
• Experience operating in Unix and Windows environments with CLI and scripting (Bash or Python).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on ES and Splunk UBA use case development, configuration, and optimization.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and improve resilience.
• Apply security domain expertise to accelerate Splunk security platform adoption.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support for customer success.
• Engage with the broader Account Team to align strategic plans.
• Build scalable team processes, collateral, and tools to improve efficiency.
• Drive CSAT by documenting compelling customer success stories.
• Identify product expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Mentor team members and participate in internal training to foster learning.
