Job summary

Splunk, a Cisco company, is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive adoption of the Splunk security platform for our critical customers. You will serve as a trusted advisor, translating customer use cases into actionable best practices for security and resilience.

You will partner with customers on long-term engagements, resolve complex challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive customer success and ongoing product feedback.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience using or administering SIEM/security log management systems such as Splunk, ArcSight, or ELK.
• Active Splunk certification with hands‑on experience in Enterprise Security, Splunk SOAR, or Splunk UBA.
• Industry security certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, or OSCP.
• Experience in Unix and Windows environments, with scripting in Bash or Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on use case development, configuration, and optimization for Enterprise Security and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
• Accelerate customer adoption of the Splunk security platform through domain expertise.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering and Customer Support to ensure customer success.
• Engage with the broader account team to align account plans and share insights.
• Help develop collateral and tools to improve operational efficiency across the organization.
• Drive high CSAT by documenting customer success stories and opportunities for expansion.
