Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager to drive adoption and optimization of the Splunk platform for top customers. You will be a trusted advisor, translating customer use cases into best practices for security and resilience.

In this role you will partner with enterprise customers on use-case development, configuration, and optimization for ES and Splunk UBA, while collaborating with sales, support, and product teams to ensure successful outcomes and ongoing value

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional IT experience, including 3+ years in information security.
• Experience using or administering SIEM or security log management systems (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, LogRhythm, ELK, Q-Radar, Rapid7, Sentinel, Chronicle).
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience managing Splunk premium apps (ES, Phantom, UBA).
• At least one industry security certification (GIAC, CISSP, OSCP or equivalent).
• Experience in Unix and Windows environments; scripting in Bash or Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on use case development, configuration, and optimization for Enterprise Security and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
• Accelerate customer adoption of the Splunk security platform through domain expertise.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure success.
• Engage with the broader account team to align strategic plans.
• Develop collateral and tools to improve operational efficiency across the org.
• Drive high CSAT by documenting customer success stories and outcomes.
• Identify product expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in team development, mentoring, and internal training.
