Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager - Splunk UK to drive adoption of the Splunk platform for premier customers across the UK.

This remote-friendly role emphasizes security expertise, strategic guidance, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, SE, and Support. The TAM will translate complex customer needs into actionable best practices, build strong executive relationships, and ensure robust customer health and high satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience with SIEM or security log management systems (Splunk, ArcSight, LogRhythm, ELK, Q-Radar, Rapid7, Sentinel, Chronicle).
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience managing ES, SOAR (Phantom), or UBA.
• At least one security certification (GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent).
• Unix and Windows environments, CLI proficiency, Bash or Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on use case development, configuration, and optimization for Enterprise Security (ES) and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges proactively to minimize downtime and improve resilience.
• Apply security domain expertise to accelerate customer adoption of the Splunk security platform.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Support to ensure customer success.
• Engage with the broader Splunk Account Team to align strategic account plans.
• Build scalable processes, collateral, and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Drive high CSAT by documenting compelling customer success stories and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for product expansion within existing accounts to support growth.
• Participate in team development initiatives and internal trainings to foster learning.
