Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Technical Account Manager for Splunk UK. This remote, full-time role focuses on helping major customers maximize the Splunk platform, driving security outcomes and aligning with product teams to expand adoption.

You will act as a trusted advisor, translating customer needs into best practices and ensuring ongoing health and satisfaction while identifying opportunities for expansion across strategic accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience, including at least 3 years in information security.
• Experience using or administering SIEM or security log management systems such as Splunk, ArcSight, LogRhythm, ELK, Q-Radar, Rapid7, Sentinel, or Chronicle.
• Active Splunk certification with hands-on experience managing ES, SOAR or UBA apps.
• At least one industry-standard security certification (GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent).
• Experience in Unix and Windows environments with CLI and scripting in Bash or Python.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers in long-term engagements to provide technical guidance on use case development and optimization for Enterprise Security and Splunk UBA.
• Resolve complex customer challenges to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
• Apply security expertise to accelerate adoption of Splunk security platform.
• Collaborate with Field Sales, Sales Engineering and Customer Support to ensure customer success.
• Engage with the broader Splunk Account Team to share information and align plans.
• Build scalable processes, collateral, and tools to improve efficiency.
