Job summary

St Monica Trust is seekingVillage Porters to help keep residents, staff and visitors safe. You will be the first point of contact on site, respond to incidents and emergencies, monitor CCTV, and support day-to-day operations.

Candidates should have basic knowledge of health and safety, strong written and verbal communication, and a full UK driving licence. The role involves 40 hours per week on a rolling 7-week rota, with shifts 6am-2pm, 2-10pm or 10pm-6am, with weekend/night enhancements.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of health & safety/fire.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to act promptly and effectively in an emergency.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deal with anyone coming onto site and respond to incidents.
• Handle fire alarms, reassurance patrols, and CCTV monitoring.
• Take incoming calls and provide entry assistance.
• Communicate events and incidents clearly to the team.
