Responsibilities

  • Interact with visitors, patients, and staff in a professional, courteous manner. Observe and enforce all hospital policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Observe visitors and patients. Manage any unusual circumstances or difficulties. Maintain visitor control inside and outside of the hospital.
  • Assist with Codes and Stats. Restrain patients when needed and watch for future disturbances. Conduct routine door checks. Maintain logs and reports.
  • Monitor cameras and alarms as needed. Follow emergency procedures for bomb threats (Code 99) or helicopter pad landings.
  • Make emergency deliveries or pick-ups of medication, organs, and blood. Provide vehicle transportation for patients, visitors, and employees as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications and Specifications

A high school diploma and a minimum of six months of job-related experience or equivalent are preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
