Job summary

Mondelēz International in Birmingham, United Kingdom, seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the section’s maintenance and reliability initiatives. You will drive safety programmes, develop maintenance strategies, and coordinate outages while partnering with technical leads and shift technicians to deliver performance improvements on Crème egg and Chocolate Making lines.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in engineering-related subject.
• Excellent analytical skills and a strong safety culture.
• Experience with condition-based monitoring technology is desirable.
• Proven leadership on the floor with continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the cell's safety programmes, including equipment and process safety.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, SMPs and preventive plans.
• Plan and lead maintenance outages, rebuilds and major overhauls.
• Coordinate with external contractors, budget holders and cross-functional teams.
