The role goes beyond keeping machinery running to shaping proactive engineering in a fast-paced environment. You will steer the shift from reactive to planned maintenance, strengthen CMMS usage, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while delivering measurable site

Qualifications

An electrically biased engineering background with a completed apprenticeship.
Experience within FMCG, food or process manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance.
Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning.
Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
A track record of identifying gaps and delivering improvement.
The ability to develop people and build capability within a team.
A structured and strategic approach to engineering management.
The ability to influence change and bring the wider team with you.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers and manage day-to-day operations and longer-term development.
Develop and deliver the engineering strategic plan.
Move the site from reactive maintenance towards a planned and preventative maintenance culture.
Strengthen CMMS utilisation and improve PM programs.
Identify and close compliance gaps.
Lead engineering projects and manage contractors.
