Job summary

CV Consulting in Milton Keynes is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will own the Engineering Department's daily operations, drive preventative maintenance, and champion safety, quality and operational excellence.

The role includes budgeting, CAPEX oversight and implementing new processes to improve equipment reliability and site performance in a 24/7 production setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading an engineering function.
• Electrical qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds (C&G), HNC or HND in electrics.
• Strong track record of improving departmental performance and implementing new processes.
• Previous experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Experience managing budgets, contractors and CAPEX projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the Engineering Department.
• Drive preventative maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability.
• Champion Health & Safety, quality and operational excellence.
• Manage budgets, CAPEX projects and external contractors.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing engineering team.
