Key Responsibilities as a Secondary Teacher:

  • Assessment & Progress Monitoring:Track student attainment and provide clear, constructive feedback to support strong outcomes.
  • Student Engagement:Inspire curiosity and a positive attitude to learning by making subject content accessible, relevant, and exciting.
  • Classroom Environment:Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment where all students feel motivated and supported.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with colleagues within your department and across the school to share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Professional Growth:Participate inCPDand stay informed of developments in your subject area and modern educational methodologies.
The successful Secondary Teacher will have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
