Affinity Partnerships are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Secondary school teachers to join the Taunton area. The roles cover KS3/KS4 with flexible day-to-day or longer-term opportunities, starting September 2026.

Success depends on delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils of all abilities to reach their potential. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status, strong literacy and numeracy, and experience with SEND needs.

Affinity Partnerships are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Secondary school teachers in the Taunton area. We are looking for both experienced and ECT teachers looking to make a difference.

We are seeking adaptable teachers who feel confident teaching across KS3 and KS4 and who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day work or longer-term opportunities, we would love to hear from you, for roles starting in September 2026.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils of all abilities to reach their full potential. Strong classroom management skills and a flexible approach are essential.

The successful applicant:

• Qualified Teachers Status.
• Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education.
• Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
• Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
