Job summary

Affinity Partnerships are seeking Cover Supervisors (Unqualified Teachers) to work with students in Melksham, Devizes and Keynsham. The role focuses on leading KS3/KS4 lessons and supporting a positive learning environment for pupils.

Ideal candidates will have a background in teaching or working with children, with experience supporting diverse needs including autism and language difficulties. This is a great entry path into teaching, with safeguarding training and CPD opportunities provided.

Qualifications

  • Sound understanding of Secondary Education.
  • Confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Experience supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Lead KS3 and KS4 lessons as part of a support team.
  • Support children with range of needs including SEND.
  • Be a team player, using initiative and a sense of humour.
  • Provide flexible, positive support to classroom targets.

Job description

Affinity Partnerships are looking for Cover Supervisors (Unqualified Teachers), with a background in any Teaching / working with children, within Melksham, Devizes, and Keynsham.

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable leading KS3 and KS4 lessons and should be enthusiastic about Teaching. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience as a Teacher.

Successful applicants:

  • Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education.
  • Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humor.
  • Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
  • Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
