Job summary

Affinity Partnerships is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary school teachers for the new academic year in Weston-Super-Mare. We welcome experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking for new opportunities, with roles starting in September 2026.

Ideal candidates will deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive classroom environment, and adapt to support pupils of all abilities across KS1 and KS2. A flexible approach and strong collaboration with staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teachers Status (QTS) is required.
• Strong understanding of Primary Education.
• Excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
• Confidence teaching KS1 and KS2.
• Experience supporting children across the full curriculum.

Affinity Partnerships are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Primary school teachers for the new academic year! We are looking for both experienced and ECT teachers who are looking for new teaching opportunities in Weston-Super-Mare.

We are seeking adaptable teachers who feel confident teaching across KS1 and KS2 and who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day work or longer-term opportunities, we would love to hear from you, for roles starting in September 2026.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils of all abilities to reach their full potential. Strong classroom management skills and a flexible approach are essential.

The successful applicant:

• Qualified Teachers Status.
• Have a sound understanding of Primary Education.
• Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
• Have confidence supporting the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
