Job summary

Affinity Partnerships are seeking full and part-time learning support assistants to work in Primary and Secondary schools in the Bristol area. Candidates should have experience with children, be confident with diverse learning needs, and be encouraging and supportive of educational requirements.

The role requires working as part of a team, using initiative and maintaining a positive, flexible attitude to meet the demands of the job.

Qualifications

• Excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Confidence supporting KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
• Experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
• Experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties in small groups and 1:1.

Job description

Affinity Partnerships are looking for full and part-time learning support assistants to work in both Primary and Secondary schools in the Bristol area.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with children, whether that's as a teaching assistant or another role involving working with children, confidence in working with children with a variety of learning abilities and needs, be encouraging and positive as well as being supportive to their educational needs.

The successful applicant:

• Have a sound understanding of Primary and Secondary Education
• Have excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
• Have confidence supporting the KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 curriculum
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
