Job summary

Affinity Partnerships are seeking learning support assistants to work in Primary and Secondary schools in the Bristol area. The role covers full-time and part-time positions with experience working with children and confidence supporting a range of learning needs across KS1–KS4.

A positive, flexible approach and teamwork are valued, with safeguarding training provided. You will also benefit from CV writing assistance, dedicated support from a consultant, and optional PAYE or Umbrella pay

Job description

Affinity Partnerships are looking for full and part-time learning support assistants to work in both Primary and Secondary schools in the Bristol area.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with children, whether that's as a teaching assistant or another role involving working with children, confidence in working with children with a variety of learning abilities and needs, be encouraging and positive as well as being supportive to their educational needs.

The successful applicant:

• Have a sound understanding of Primary and Secondary Education
• Have excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
• Have confidence supporting the KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 curriculum
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
