Job summary

A leading educational services provider in Liverpool is seeking qualified Secondary Teachers for temporary positions. You will engage students in core subjects such as Drama, English, and Maths. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, assigning homework, and providing feedback. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required, and strong safeguarding knowledge is a must. The role offers a daily salary ranging from £150 to £280.

Overview

Job Title: Secondary Teacher

Job Type: Temporary

Duration: Ongoing

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £150 - £280 + per day

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30am – 4:00pm

Core Education are proud to be working with secondary schools based in the Liverpool area. We are looking to recruit passionate Secondary Teachers, with teaching experience in key stage 3 for one of the following subjects:

Subjects

• Drama
• English
• Geography
• Maths
• P.E.
• Food Technology
• IT
• Science

Responsibilities

• Assigning and grading homework, projects and exams
• Creating a positive learning environment
• Creating lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the needs of the curriculum
• Evaluating and observing the mental and physical health of students
• Leading lessons in an engaging way
• Providing personal feedback to the students and communicating with the parents / guardians

Experience and Qualifications

• Secondary experience teaching Drama, English, Geography, Maths, P.E., or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures
