Job summary

A flexible education service provider in the UK is seeking an experienced secondary tutor to work with children who have special educational needs. The tutor will provide one-on-one support in subjects like Maths, English, and Science, helping students integrate back into mainstream education. A PGCE with QTS and two years of teaching experience in the UK are required for this rewarding role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience teaching in the UK.
• Experience with one-to-one tuition is an advantage.

Job description

Overview

Remedy Tutors are looking for a flexible, experienced and qualified secondary tutor to help SEN kids fulfil their true potential and integrate them back into mainstream to complete their GCSEs.

You will be teaching face to face in a 1:1 setting either at the child's home with a parent or carer present, or in a local library or in a private room in a school. You will be helping kids that suffer with various difficulties including ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia etc.

Subjects

The subjects will be the core subjects of Maths, English and Science.

Minimum Requirements

• PGCE with a QTS
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• 2 years experience teaching in the UK
• Knowledge of Maths & Englsih (Either Primary or Secondary)
