Barchester Healthcare Limited is seeking a qualified Chef to join as Second Chef in our care homes across the UK. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome menus using fresh seasonal produce, tailoring dishes to residents’ preferences while upholding high standards.

Qualificações

• Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent.
• Good understanding of nutrition and fresh seasonal food.
• Ability to create a warm, welcoming kitchen environment.
• Confidence engaging with residents to tailor menus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Assist Head Chef in menu development.
• Work with fresh produce to deliver high quality dishes.
• Create a warm, efficient and enjoyable environment for residents.
• Work within budget and complete regular audits.
• Manage stock control.
