Barchester Healthcare is seeking a qualified Chef to join as Second Chef, delivering hotel/restaurant standards with balanced shifts. You will assist the Head Chef, tailor menus for residents, and help create nutritious, flavoursome dishes in a warm, welcoming home environment.

We look for warm, motivated chefs who value quality, with HACCP knowledge and experience of working with fresh seasonal produce. Ideal candidates demonstrate a genuine care for residents and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Personable and warm approach with residents.

Responsibilities

• Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Assist Head Chef in menu development.
• Work with fresh produce to deliver high quality dishes.
• Create a warm, efficient and fun environment.
• Work within budget.
• Complete regular audits.
• Manage stock control.
