A leading care home provider in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated Second Chef to create and prepare nutritious meals for residents. The role involves planning menus, supervising the kitchen team, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have an NVQ Level 2 in Food Production or Hygiene and a passion for cooking. This position provides opportunities for personal growth within a caring community.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
Hours: 36 hours over 4 days, to include alternate weekends
Are you someone with a passion for cooking?
Are you organized with the ability to meet deadlines? Ideally you will have experience working in a kitchen producing attractive and high-quality meals in high volumes.
We’re looking for someone with a Certificate in NVQ Level 2 Food Production/ Hygiene or interested in undertaking one. You will ideally need an understanding of health and safety and other current relevant legislation.
