Role and responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a Wildlife Trust Consultancy. Key duties will be to assist the team in carrying out field surveys especially evening bat surveys, data analysis, mapping and basic reporting. Due to the smaller size of the consultancy, you will need to be willing, with support and training, to undertake a range of work relating to all aspects of ecological consultancy. You must be prepared to be flexible over travel and hours, as it is a requirement to regularly work late evenings for bat surveys.

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment until 31 October 2026, based at Aldens Court, Exeter.

Interviews are being held on 26 and 27 February 2026 at Aldens Court, Exeter
