Job summary

SRS Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Regional Account Manager to drive sales in Scotland for a premium building products supplier. You will strengthen customer relationships, manage merchant and installer networks, and grow brand presence through in-branch training and merchandising.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role focuses on expanding merchant engagement, product integration, and branch-level promotions across Southern Scotland.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or account management within building products sector.
• Strong understanding of Builder's Merchant supply chain.
• Excellent diary management and area planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and carry out gap analysis on active accounts and improve product mix.
• Ensure integration of new products to customer base.
• Identify and grow relationships with merchant installers to create demand for products.
• Ensure POS is current and explore exposure opportunities in branches.
• Identify needs and deliver training within branches.
• Book physical training for landscapers in branches.
• Collaborate with BDMs for larger group training sessions.
• Prospect new Merchant Partner opportunities.
• Ensure new stocking branches are merchandised fully in a timely manner.
