Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food supplier for an Area Sales Manager to manage and develop customers across Scotland. This is a home-based, field sales role covering the whole of Scotland, with daily travel to visits and a focus on building long-term relationships.

You will manage about 100 existing accounts and identify new business opportunities across farms, farm shops, garden centres, convenience stores, and other independent

Qualifications

• Proven field-based sales experience (essential).
• Experience managing the full 360 sales cycle.
• Strong track record of winning new business plus managing existing accounts.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organised and driven approach to sales.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of around 100 customers.
• Generate new business via cold calling, appointments, and visits.
• Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits across your territory.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
• Work toward and exceed sales targets and KPI's.
• Represent the business professionally while delivering outstanding customer service.
