Job summary

Mabey Hire is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in Glasgow to lead the Scotland Sales team and drive revenue growth across construction and hire markets. You will shape sales tactics, coach field staff, and manage key customer relationships to maximise opportunities.

The role focuses on national accounts and major customers, requiring a proven track record in technical sales and team leadership within the sector. Competitive salary, bonus potential and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction / hire with a Sales capacity.
• Sold technical engineered solutions.
• Evidenced line management of field sales colleagues.
• Knowledge of Microsoft, enquiry pipeline and client relationship management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, motivate and coach a team of Sales Managers to align with this role and deliver the overall budget revenue targets.
• Develop, produce and implement sales tactics in line with annual sector-based communicated Sales plans that will maximise revenue from existing and new products.
• Promote Standard Pre-Engineered solutions through the depot sales desks to increase revenue.
• Produce quality design briefs for engineering team for bespoke solutions.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers to achieve budgeted targets, focussing on specified 20k+ and national customers for growth opportunities.
• Accelerate multi point engagement of Field Engineer/Engineering /General Manager team across the customer.
• Support the development of national/key accounts through local relationships, directed by the national account team.
