Qualifications

• Have a minimum of six months’ demonstrable experience of working with a child/children in a school setting.
• Demonstrable knowledge of providing direct support to a child/children in a school setting and to teachers/school staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with toileting/personal hygiene/dressing.
• Ensure safe mobility and supervision of pupils on premises, outings, and transport of belongings if required.
• Accompany staff on outings or therapy programmes (swimming, hydrotherapy, etc.).
• Assist with feeding and meals.
• Ensure pupils follow school routines and rules.
• Clean equipment and set out classroom materials as directed.
• Perform other non-curricular duties as required.
