Job summary

Compass Group UK&I's Chartwells arm is recruiting a part-time Catering Supervisor to oversee our school catering operations in the Emsworth area. You will manage kitchens and service counters, ensuring exceptional food and outstanding customer service across all site operations.

With a minimum of two years in catering and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, you will lead and train teams, monitor KPIs, and uphold health and safety standards while representing our brand with pride.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated individual open to upskilling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain impeccable service.
• Communicate regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and culinary/service teams to exceed expectations.
• Support and train teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across catering and service teams.
