Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part time basis (25 hours per week, 43.8 weeks per year). You will ensure kitchens run smoothly and deliver exceptional food experiences in education settings.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of catering experience, prior team management, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Be ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
